Jeff Orsa Partner

Producer / Cinematographer / Director
Jeff Orsa was born in the San Fernando Valley, otherwise known as the "New Jersey" of L.A.. Jeff’s film career began at the Raleigh Studios while he was attending college. While working at Raleigh Studios, he was approached by a gaffer who asked him if he wanted to make three hundred dollars a day doing lighting for him. He took the bait, and his life has been hell ever since. Jeff went on to work with some of the best commercial directors, which lead directly to feature films, and some of the most talented cinematographers, directors and producers in the business. From gaffing, Jeff moved into cinematography studying under Academy Award nominated cinematographer,

The jump from cinematography to producing and directing was natural for Jeff, given his extensive background and experience. Jeff and Mark met during the production of “Reel Guerrillas”, and it was clear that they would ride the dragon together.

Donna Madrigal Partner

Writer / Editor
Donna hails from the East, east of Los Angeles that is. Growing up in Fontana, CA there was not much to do except watch movies. The local movie theater became a Friday night staple, it was there in the darken isles with the dim floor lights that Donna became enthralled with films. With every visit to that old theater, a secret desire for wanting to be involved in filmmaking would ensue.

For years that secret would be suppressed until her sophomore year at
UC Riverside, where she was studying to be a lawyer – yikes! Donna knew she could no longer continue pursuing a law degree, and, against her family’s wishes, Donna transferred to UC Santa Cruz to study film.

The bold move paid off, after graduating from UCSC, Donna moved back to Southern California and began working in the film industry. Over the past eight years Donna has worked on several projects for film and television, such as
Napoleon Dynamite, Deliver Us From Evil, Southland Tales, Crank, and Scrubs.

Visual Style: Story, Story, Story.

Trivia: Can speak in tongues…kidding – maybe.
