There Once Was A Man From Nantucket...

There once was a man from Nantucket,
Who was poaching fish near Pawtucket,
He found himself wishing,
to spend his life fishing,
And wound up in his minnow bucket

(Ha Ha, fooled you)

Congratulations Kathryn and Geoffrey!!! You've Made History

It’s hard to imagine that in the eighty-two years of The Academy Awards, a woman has not won the Oscar for Best Director, nor has an African American won the Oscar for screenwriting, until now.

Kathryn Bigelow Mini Geoffrey Fletcher II

Congratulations Kathryn on your historical achievement, and for making a superb film. I’ve watched “The Hurt Locker” several times and each time is as gut wrenching as the first. Kathryn captured the essence of one of the many jobs that our men and women of the armed forces are dealing with in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas of conflict. The cast of “The Hurt Locker” is superb and it is fitting that the Academy Award for Best Picture, was bestowed on such an amazing work of art. Team television 101 is inspired by your work. Thank you. MDM

Congratulations Geoffrey, Oscar history has been re-written, and you have given many writers the inspiration that with hard work, talent and persistence, excellence can be achieved. Thank you for achieving excellence with your script for “Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire”. Your script brought to life characters that are hard for many people to process, and you did it with such grace that we couldn’t look away. Team television 101 is inspired. MDM
